Gentle Rebel Creative Workshops offer a space for individuals to explore their creativity without pressure or expectation. They provide an opportunity to connect with and learn from other people who share similar interests and explore new ideas in a welcoming and open environment.
I am an ambient sound artist, songwriter, and slow coach, and I love facilitating welcoming and calming environments for weary travellers to rest, play, and make stuff. Since 2014, I have supported thousands of gentle rebels worldwide to connect with their creative spirit and find sustainable rhythms to build on through the online community I founded at The Haven .
Amazing things are possible when we open up a spirit of creativity and allow ourselves to be who we are as we are. The Gentle Rebel Creative Workshop is an accepting environment where you're free to play, to try, and to make "mistakes". Whether you need space to focus on an existing project, would like to find inspiration for something new, or are simply interested in exploring your desire to express yourself creatively.
I invite you to bring a project to work on (it's a chance to focus on what might not always get time at home). You’ll also find music toys (e.g. mini-synthesisers and fun instruments), art supplies (to sketch, paint, write etc), and prompts you can play with and get inspired by. Plus, if you’re open to sharing your craft, you can introduce others to the things you love. Bring some spares!
1. Opening (space to rest and a short story to encourage and inspire the session)
2. Space to create (time for people to work on their own thing, experiment with the toys/materials provided, and get gently inspired by others)
3. Close (space to share any work, reflections, and ideas)
Timings are flexible to suit the venue.
Unless otherwise arranged, I run workshops with a pay what you can tip jar on the day. Where space is limited, events will be ticketed.
