This is the last episode until the new year. I’ve been brought to a halt the past few days by the flu, which is my body’s way of telling me to “Stop! Rest!” Things have been hectic the past few weeks and I’ve tried to cram it all in. I’m now paying the price.
Not that it’s unusual to be busy at work and to struggle in finding time to maintain the podcast through December. It happens every year…my journal tells me so. All fool me for not learning from the past. In this show I tell you what I’ve done in an effort to lessen the chances of that happening again in the future…
Riding It In
As I ride the wave of 2017 into the shore, I’ve been reflecting on what has gone on this year. Comparing reality with my expectations and hopes from 12 months ago. I don’t know about you, but for me there have been some major discrepancies. Some good, some not so good.
Have you learned any big lessons in 2017?
Looking Back at the Past Year
In this roundup episode I share some of the goings on from 2017. The challenge of moving house and living in limbo. Some of the struggles from living in an area of sensory overwhelm. And how that’s impacted other areas of life. I share reflections on the business, my music, and the amazing unexpected opportunity I had to perform at another TEDx event.
Looking Forward to the New Year
You will discover my hopes and intentions for 2018. The small tweaks I will make to the podcast, and my aims for creating more videos to go alongside it. And other changes I’ve been working on in The Haven and music communities.
Over to You
What are your hopes for 2018 and the new year? Has 2017 gone as you expected? If not, what went differently? Was it good, bad, or just different? I’d love to hear your reflections! Please leave them in the comments below.
